Petty response to a job offer, I'll go first

Last year was my busiest year in terms of finding employment. I have a heavy background in call centers and I wanted to deviate from phone jobs. I applied as a loan processor to a bank nearby & I made it all the way

to interview #3. The final interview was with the branch manager & it was over zoom. He came on late, and was distracted the entire time/cutting me off because he was tracking his DoorDash order. As I'm
  • 05
answering his halfass questions, he would comment "omg how hard is it to deliver an order” because the dasher was having a hard time finding the building.

  • 08
I said yes. Monday came & I get a call 10 minutes after I was supposed to start, "hey where are you, trainings waiting on you” apparently the branch manager that did my 3rd

  • 11
Me: I am 6 minutes away from receiving my order Him: excuse me? What do you mean?
  • 12
Me: my DoorDash order you didn't actually think I was going to join your company, did you? Have a lovely day clicked on him(also, I didn't actually order DoorDash lol.
  • 13
He was really condescending against the dasher the day of my interview so I wanted to remind him I remember lol)
  • 14
(I had no intention of working there after the 3rd interview. I found a remote job shortly after & I was still petty as heck ) also, the recruiter kept calling me to confirm
  • 15
if I was actually not going to come in so they could look for someone else I ignored her calls cause I'm P E TO THE T TY)
